Wechsler hardness tester is the preferred instrument for testing the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy profiles. It conforms to the Chinese non-ferrous standard YS/T420-2004 and the American standard ASTM B647-84 (2000).
Wechsler hardness tester is an instrument which can quickly test the hardness of aluminum alloy on site. Easy to use, one card can be, hardness value directly read, high efficiency, good reliability.
Wechsler hardness tester is a certain shape of hard steel pressing needle, under the action of standard spring test force pressed into the sample surface, with the pressing depth of the needle to determine the material hardness, defined 0.01mm pressing depth as a Wechsler hardness unit. The Vickers hardness unit is expressed as HW.
Webster hardness tester is a small, portable instrument, small volume, light weight, it can be single hand operation, quick, convenient and nondestructive test material hardness, it needn’t sampling, the operation skill is not high, very suitable for the production site on the material for rapid detection of aluminium alloy profiles, pipes, plates, aluminum parts, and other soft metal hardness. It is especially suitable for rapid, non-destructive conformity inspection of batch products on production site, sales site or construction site.
Wechsler hardness tester can also be used to test the hardness of copper, brass, mild steel and other materials.
Vickers hardness tester is in line with the national metrological verification regulation JJG944-201X “Metal Vickers hardness tester”.
